Sheridan Resident Heath Steel Graduates as Part of the Inaugural Class of the Volunteers of America Executive Development Program
Washington, DC – Heath Steel of Sheridan recently graduated as part of the inaugural class of the Volunteers of America Executive Development Program.
Heath was one of 22 graduates of the two-year program, each of whom are executives or high-potential employees from Volunteers of America’s national office or 38 local offices nationwide. A graduation ceremony was held on June 7 as part of Volunteers of America’s national conference in Washington, DC.
Volunteers of America’s Executive Development Program was created in 2007 to strengthen the organization’s current leadership with opportunities for training, hands-on experience and dialogue with other leaders; as well as to maintain Volunteers of America’s unique culture by building on the organization’s strengths and 113-year track record of proven high-quality human services, while fostering innovation and creativity to position the organization creatively in the future.
